This past May we had the pleasure of hosting a truly memorable wine tasting event, and we’re thrilled to share the highlights with you! Held on Level 3 here at Spot Co-Working, the evening was a perfect blend of fine wines, delicious cheeses, and great company. A special thanks goes to The Lane Vineyards, an exquisite SA winery, which provided a selection of beautiful wines that delighted our palates.
A Journey Through Fine Wines
Our guests had the opportunity to sample five different wines from The Lane Vineyards, each offering a unique taste experience:
Lois Blanc de Blancs: Bouquet consisting of floral notes with bright citrus and fresh green apple. Accompanied with a palate of subtle lemon pith with jasmine flower and crunchy green apple are complemented by a fine bead and a dry, crisp finish
Lane Pinot Gris: Bouquet consisting of lifted guava, white peach and elderflower. Accompanied with a clean, crisp and fresh palate. Nashi pear, lychee and honeysuckle, a waxy texture and lively citrus finish.
Lane Rose: Bouquet consisting of crushed rose petal, strawberry and cherry blossom. Accompanied with a bright, vibrant and lifted palate. Wild strawberry, cherry blossom and hints of ruby red grapefruit with a dry and elegant finish
Lane Pinot Noir: Bouquet consisting of lifted aromas of raspberry, red cherry and dry herbs. Accompanied with a focused palate of black cherry, sarsaparilla and clove with fine, velvety tannins.
Lane 2021 Shiraz: Bouquet consisting of lifted aromas of forest fruits and clove. Accompanied with a flavoursome palate of plum, black pepper mixed with a silky texture and fine tannins.
Cheese Board Delights
No wine tasting is complete without a selection of delectable cheeses, and our carefully curated cheese board did not disappoint. From creamy brie to sharp cheddar, the cheeses complemented the wines beautifully, providing a perfect balance of flavours. Guests nibbled on a variety of artisanal cheeses, fresh fruits, and gourmet crackers, enhancing the overall tasting experience whilst networking with their fellow coworkers.
A Community Affair
The turnout was fantastic, with a wonderful mix of familiar faces and new friends. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, filled with engaging conversations about the wines, their businesses and everything in between. It’s events like these that remind us of the vibrant community we are a part of, and we couldn’t be happier to see everyone enjoying themselves and making the most out of a coworking community.
